Beef and Onion Stir-fry Recipe
This beef and onion stir-fry recipe is a great example of how just a couple of ingredients to creat a terrific dish. For a little spicier version, try adding some chilis along with chili bean sauce.

Cook time: 5 minutes
Utensils:
Wok, mixing bowl, serving plate.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
3 strips of beef
1 onion, peeled, cut into thin strips
2-3 tbsps. vegetable oil for stir-frying
Seasoning A:
1 tbsp. Chinese rice wine, or dry sherry
1 tbsp. light soy sauce
2 tbsps. water
1 tbsp. cornstarch
Seasoning B:
2 tbsps. chili bean sauce
1 tbsp. ground black pepper
2 tbsps. water
Direction:
1. Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces, then combine with Seasoning A in a mixing bowl, let marinate for 10 minutes.
2. Preheat a wok over high heat for at least 1 minute before adding 2-3 tbsps. vegetable oil, heat until hot, then pan-fry beef strips until bothsides are crispy and golden brown.
3. Then add onin strips and Seasoning B into the wok in which it was cooked, stir fry over medium high heat until everything mixed well together.
4. Remove from the heat to a plate, serve hot then.
