Beef and Radish Stew Recipe
In this classic Chinese stew recipe, beef and radish are gently simmered in a combination of spice and seasonings. Give it a go!

Wok, clay pot, bowl, serving plate.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
5 oz./ 150g beef tenderloin, cut into 1-inch chunks
5 oz./ 150g radish, cut according to the picture
4 slices ginger root
4 garlic colves, sliced
3 chilis, diced
3 star ainse
1/2 stalk scallion, cut into 1-inch sections
2 tbsps. vegetable oil for stir-frying

Directions:
1. Preheat a wok over medium heat before adding 2 tbsps. vegetable oil, drizzle the oil to coat both the sides and the bottom of the wok, when the oil is hot, saute garlic, ginger, chilis, and star anise briefly until aromatic, which will take about 30 seconds.

2. Place beef tenderloin in the wok, stir fry over medium heat for 3-5 minutes.
3. Add radish back when the beef is nearly cooked.

4. Cook for a while, then transfer them to a warmed clay pot to finish until done to your need.

5. Serve as is or ladle into warmed bowls then.
