Beef and Radish Stew Recipe
This is a slow-cooked beef stew - beef and radish are gently simmered in a combination of spice and seasonings, hence the beef becomes incredibly tender and flavored.

Total time: 20 minutes
Utensils:
Wok, clay pot, bowl, plate.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
5 oz./ 150 g beef tenderloin, cut into 1-inch chunks
5 oz./ 150 g radish, cut according to the picture
4 garlic colves, sliced
1/2 stalk scallion, cut into 1-inch sections
4 slices ginger root
3 chilis, diced
3 star ainse
2 tbsps. vegetable oil for stir-frying

Directions:
1. Preheat a wok over medium high heat for 30 seconds before adding 2 tbsps. vegetable oil, drizzle the oil so it coats both the sides and the bottom of the wok., saute garlic, giner, chilis, and star anise briefly when the oil is hot, about 30 seconds.

2. In the wok, stir fry beef tenderloin over medium high heat for 3-5 minutes.
3. Add the radish back when the beef nears cooked.

4. Cook for a while, then transfer all to a warmed clay pot to finish until done to your desired doneness.

5. Serve as is or ladle into warmed bowls.
