Black Pepper Beef Recipe

Ingredients:
7 oz. / 200 g beef, cut into thin strips
3.5 oz. / 100 g cauliflower, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
7 oz. / 200 g carrot, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/2 onion, peeled and cut into thin strips
Seasonings A:
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. light soy sauce
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
1tbsp. vegetable oil
Seasonings B:
1 tbsp. ground black pepper
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, gently combine the beef strips with seasoning A, let marinate for about 30 minutes before cooking.
2. Preheat the wok over high for 1 minute before adding 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, heat until hot, then stir fry beef over medium heat, breaking up the lumps, until white. Then set them aside for later use.

3. Use the remaining oil to stir fry the onion strips, carrot and cauliflower cubes, about 1-2 minutes, then add the beef strips back into the wok, stir into seasoning B, keep cooking over medium heat for a further 1-2 minutes, or until cooked.
4. Remove from the wok to a plate, serve immediately.
