Crispy Lotus Root Pie Recipe
This simple and crispy lotus root pie is perfect for any party, and makes with all kinds of dips as well.

Utensils:
Wok, blender, bowl, plate.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
3.5 oz./ 100 g ground pork
7 oz./ 200 g lotus root, peeled, cut into subes, then blend into mash in a blender
1 tbsp. chopped scallion
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp .white sugar
1 tbsp. chicken essence
3 tbsps. vegetable oil for pan-frying
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and seasonings except the oil together, mix well.

2. Place the bowl on the microwave roasting rack, cook over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes, then take out and let chill for about 5 minutes.

3. Take them out from the bowl, and then cut into 1-inch square.
4. Preheat a wok over medium heat for at least 30 seconds before adding oil, swirl the oil until hot, then pan fry the squares over medium high heat until golden.

5. Remove from the wok to a plate, serve hot.
