Egg with Celery Pancake Recipe
You might not think to put celcery into egg to make such a pie, but the combination is very nice indeed. This classic Chinese egg recipe features crispy celery and smoothy egg cream.

Serves 2
Ingredients:
1 tbsp. flour
1-2 eggs
1 tbsp. minced garlic cloves
2 stalks celery, rinse well, chopped fine
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
2 tbsp. light soy sauce
1 tbsp. chicken essence
1 tbsp. rice vinegar
2 tbsps. vegetable oil for stir-frying
Directions:
1. Beat the egg in a bowl, whisk lightly, then add into 1 tbsp. water and 1 tbsp. flour, stir to make a paste.

2. Add chopped celery, 1 tbsp. chicken essence, 1 tsp. salt, and 1 tbsp. light soy sauce into it, mix well.

3. Preheat a wok over high heat for 1 minute before adding 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, heat until hot, then pour into the flour paste, pan fry over medium high heat.
4. Turn it over in order to fry the other side when one side nears done.
5. Make sauce by combining 1 tbsp. light soy sauce, 1 tbsp. rice vinegar, and minced garlic cloves in a bowl.

6. Remove from the wok to a plate, serve hot with the sauce if desired.
