Purchasing tips:
When choosing, select firm and crispy head lettuce that is in regular shape. Avoid heads with wilted or brown spots, nor strong ribs around.
Storage:
Do not wash before put them into plastic bags, refrigerate for about 3-4 days or so. Keep away from apples, bananas, or pears, as the ethylene gas they released will turn lettuce brown.
Preparation and Usage:
Just rinse thoroughly under cold running water and pat dry, do not soak into water, then cut into slices or according to the recipes.
