Asparagus and Meat Stir-fry Recipe
This nutritious recipe features a terrific combination of the tangy asparagus and juicy meat. This Chinese classic food recipe is simple to master and quick to make as well.

Ingredients:
7 oz./ 200 g asparagus
7 oz./ 200 g pork, cut into thin strips
2 garlic cloves
2 slices ginger
1 tbsp. chicken essence
1 tsp. rice wine, or dry sherry
1 tbsp. light soy sauce
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
4 red hot chili peppers, seed, diced
2 tbsps. vegetable oil for stir-frying

Directions:
1. Cut the asparagus into bite-sized cubes according to the picture, then cut each into halves.


2. Preheat a wok over medium-high heat for 30 seconds before adding oil, swirl it around the surface until hot, saute ginger and garlic cloves until atomatic, about 30 seconds, then put back the meat strips and cook over medium high heat.

3. Add asparagus and chili peppers back into the wok when the meat turns white, continue to cook, stir into all the other seasonings as you cook, toss gently to mix everything together.
4. Remove from the heat to a plate, serve hot.
