Chili Bean Sauce and Spareribs Steam Recipe
This steamed chili bean sauce and spareribs recipe is perfect served over rice or noodles, it also can be made as hot or mild as you wish.

Serves 3.
Ingredients:
7 oz./ 200 g spareribs, chop into 1-inch pieces
2 garlic cloves, sliced thin
1/3 cup cornstarch
2 slices fresh ginger, cut julienne
2 tbsps. chili bean sauce
1 tbsp. ground black pepper
2 tbsps. light soy sauce
1 tbsp. rice vinegar
1 tbsp. rice wine, or dry sherry

Directions:
1. Combine spareribs with all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well and let them marinate for about 30-60 minutes.

2. Bring a pot of water to a boil, then put on the basket and set the bowl on the basket, cover and steam until done.
3. When cooked, remove from the pot, let cool for 10 minutes before serving, typically served with steamed rice or noodles.
