Chinese Carrot Meatballs Recipe
This Chinese carrot meatballs recipe is a beautiful, and delicious way to break the meatballs routine. Meanwhile, you can also coat with your favorite sauce for a mouthwatering treat.

Utensils:
Frying pan, colander, grater, serving plate.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour
1 raw egg, beaten
3.5 oz./100 g ground pork, or beef
1-2 carrots, washed and grated well
1 tbsp. grated ginger
1 tbsp. chopped scallion
1 tbsp. five-spice powder
1 tbsp. chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp. light soy sauce
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
5 tbsps. vegetable oil for deep-frying

Directions:
1. Add all the ingredients in a big mixing bowl, stirring and mix well.

2. Form the mixture into tiny meatballs of about 2-inches diameter.
3. Add 5 tbsps. vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat, heat until it is shimmering on the bottom and very hot but not yet smoking, deep fry meatballs over medium high heat until golden brown, which will take about 10 minutes.
4. Drain well in a colander or on kitchen paper, place on a plate and serve.
