Ingredients:
1/2 cup bread crumbs
14 oz./ 400g spareribs, cut into 1-2 inches length
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp. white sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. light soy sauce
5 tbsps. vegetable oil for deep-frying
Directions:
1. In a big mixing bowl, combine spareribs with minced garlic cloves, 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 tbsp. light soy sauce, and 1 tbsp. white sugar, mix well and let them marinate for 2 hours or so before cooking.

2. Coat the marinated spareribs lightly in the bread crumbs, shaking off any excess.

3. In a wok, heat oil until shimmering on the bottom, but not yet smoking, deep fry the sausage over medium-high heat until cooked through.
5. Drain thoroughly on kitchen papers and then serve on a plate.
