Red-cooking Meat Chestnuts Stir-fry Recipe
Soft-textured chestnuts, combined with juicy meat, red-cooking meat chestnuts stir-fry recipe can give you a refreshing feeling.

Ingredients:
400 g / 14 oz. pork, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 tbsps. light soy sauce
20 chestnuts, peeled
3 tbsps. brown sugar
3 slices ginger
4 chilis, seeded
2 stalks scallion, cut into sections
1 tbsp. salt, or to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat a wok for about 30 seconds over high heat before adding pork cubes, and then pan fry them over medium heat until bothsides turn brown.

2. Add 2 tbsps. light soy sauce, 3 tbsps. brown sugar, scallion, ginger, and chilis into the wok, stir fry until aromatic.

3. Add 1-2 cups warm water, cover and bring to a boil then.

4. When boiling, add chestnuts and reduce to medium high heat, cover and continue to simmer for about 30 minutes, or until coooked.
5. When the sauce thickens, taste and season with salt, mix well and remove to a plate, serve hot.
