Orange and Sesame Seeds Sparerib Recipe
This orange and sesame seeds sparerib recipe lets the sparerib be the star, and the sweet orange cubes really add a subtle accent to the sparerib. It is perfect for any party and works every time.

Ingredients:
9 oz. / 250 g spareribs
1/2 oranges, cubed
2-4 tbsps. orange juice concentrate
1 tbsp. fresh coriander, as desired
2 tbsps. toasted sesame seeds
3 garlic cloves, sliced
5 tbsps. vegetable oil for deep-frying
Marinade A:
1 tbsp. salt, or to taste
1 tbsp. light soy sauce
1 tbsp. cornstarch
Marinade B:
1 tbsp. salt, or to taste
1 tbsp. white sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. light soy sauce
Directions:
1. Rinse the spareribs thoroughly through running water, then drain well in a colander and chop into 1-2 inches pieces with a heavier cleaver, gently combine with Marinade A in a mixing bowl, let them marinate for 15 minutes before need.
2. Place a wok over medium-high flame, preheat for 1 minute before adding 5 tbsps. vegetable oil, heat until it is shimmering on the bottom, but not yet smoking, deep fry each sparerib over medium high heat for about 1-2 minutes, or until golden. Then drain well on kitchen papers and set aside for later use.

3. Pour off any excess deep-frying oil, leave 2 tbsps. oil in the wok, then turn on medium high flame, swirl the oil around the wok to coat the surface, when the oil is hot, saute garlic cloves until aromatic, about 20 seconds. Stir fry the spareribs, stirring and tossing around the wok.

4. Blend 2-4 tbsps. orange juice concentrate and Marinade B together in a separate bowl, stirring to thicken.
5. Pour the sauce over the spareribs, add orange cubes, cook briefly to mix everything together, sprinkle 2 tbsps. toasted sesame seeds over the spareribs as you stir fry.

6. Transfer them to a serving plate, garnish with a few sprigs of fresh coriander if desired.
