Juicy Orange Spareribs Recipe
Enjoying the sweet and sour crispy spareribs in this classic Chinese recipe, here the orange juice adds an extra kick to the flavor.

Utensils:
Wok, bowl, cup, kitchen papers, serving plate.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
400 g / 14 oz. spareribs
2 oranges
1 cup breadcrumb
Vegetable oil

Marinade:
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
1 tsp. white sugar, or to taste
Sauce A:
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tsp. rice vinegar
1 tsp. white sugar
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
1 tbsp. cornstarch
Directions:
1. Rinse the orange well, cut into half, then squeeze out the juice into a cup, reserve the peel, and cut into thin strips, put into water for later use.

2. Rinse the spareribs thoroughly under cold running water, drain well and chop into sections, combined with the marinade in a big mixing bowl, mix well and let sit for about 30 minutes.
3. After the marinade, coat them with breadcrumb evenly in a plate.

4. Preheat a wok over high for about 1 minute before adding enough vegetable oil, heat until it is shimmering on the bottom, but not yet smoking, deep fry coated spareribs over high heat until golden brown. Drain well in kitchen paper then.
5. Pour off all the oil from the wok, add sauce A, and orange peels, cook over low heat until the sauce thickens, then add the cooked spareribs back into the wok, stir briefly to mix everything together.
6. Remove to a plate, serve hot.
