Pepper Pineapple and Meat Stir-fry Recipe
A great recipe when you want to impress guests – green pepper stir-fried with meat, pineapple, onion, ketchup, and other Asian seasonings.

Ingredients:
3.5 oz./ 100 g pork, cut into small cubes
1 green pepper, seeded, diced
1 onion, peeled, sliced thin
1/2 cup pineapple chunks
1 egg white
1 tbsp. cornstarch
7 tbsps. vegetable oil for deep-frying
2 tbsps. ketchup
1 tbsp. Chinese rice wine, or dry sherry
1 tbsp. rice vinegar
1 tbsp. white sugar
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine pork cubes with 1 egg white and 1 tbsp. cornstarch, mix well and let sit for 5 minutes.

2. Heat 5 tbsps. vegetable oil in a wok over medium high heat until it is shimmering on the bottom and very hot, but not yet smoking, turn heat to low, and add the marinated pork, deep fry until golden brown.

3. In a separate bowl, combine all the seasonings together for sauce, whisk lightly to mix well.
4. Preheat a wok over medium heat for 30 seconds before adding 2 tbsps. vegetable oil, then saute onion slices and diced green pepper for abour 30 seconds, pour the sauce over, and toss gently once or twice as you cook.

5. Add the cooked pork and pineapple chunks back into the wok, stir briefly to mix everything together.
6. Remove from the heat, serve hot on a plate.
