Tomato Sauce Meatballs Recipe
In this easy-to-make Chinese recipe, the crispy crust and meaty tasty meatballs paired perfectly with the sweet and sour tomato sauce, which can give you a refreshing feeling for sure.

Ingredients:
400 g / 14 oz. pork, chopped fine
2 tomatoes, peeled, cut into small cubes
2 tbsps. chopped scallion
1 tbsp. ground black pepper
2 tbsps. minced ginger
2 egg white
1 tbsp. sesame oil
1 tbsp. chicken essence
1 tbsp. rice wine, or dry sherry
2 tbsps. ketchup
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsps. vegetable oil for stir-frying
Directions:
1. Put pork into a bowl, combine with chopped scallion, minced ginger, salt, chicken essence, rice wine, sesame oil, ground black pepper, egg white, and cornstarch, stir clockwise for about 3-5 minutes.
2. Form the mixture into small meatballs, set on a plate.

3. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add meatballs and cook over high heat until they float on the surface, then drain and set on a plate.

4. Heat 2 tbsps. vegetable oil in a wok until hot, stir fry tomato cubes over medium high heat, add 2 tbsps. ketchup, keep stirring.
5. Pour into 1 cup warm water, put meatballs back, then bring them to a boil, reduce heat to simmer for another 10-20 minutes before done.
6. Remove to a bowl and serve hot.
