Chicken Wings Potato Stew Recipe
The best combination of chicken wings and potato, makes this perfect Chinese stew recipe, it is nutritious as well as tasty, and all the ingredients are easy to get in your refrigerator.

Serves 2
Ingredients:
8 chicken wings
2 potatoes, peeled, cut into small cubes
2 slices ginger
2 tbsp. chopped scallion
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
1/2 cup water

Marinade:
1 tbsp. light soy sauce
1 tbsp. Chinese rice wine, or dry sherry
1 tbsp. Szechuan peppercorn
Directions:
1. Rinse the chicken wings well through running water, then combine with the marinade in a bowl, let marinate for about 2 hours.

2. Preheat a wok over high heat for about 2 minutes before adding 2 tbsps. vegetable oil, heat till hot, stir fry marinated chicken wings over medium high heat for about 1-2 minutes.

3. Add chopped scallion, ginger, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 cup water, potato cubes back into the wok in which it was cooked, cook over high heat until simmering, then reduce to medium heat and stew until cooked, which will take about 15 minutes.

4. Stop cooking when the potato softens and sauce reduces, remove from the wok to a plate, serve hot.
