Green Pepper and Chicken Wings Stir-fry Recipe
The perfect combination of chicken wings, green pepper, chilis, and bean sauce, whose popularity has never faded, and works at any partys.

Wok, bowl, serving plate.
Serves 2.
Ingredients:
5 chicken wings
1 green pepper, sliced
5 chilis, diced
1 star anise
2 bay leaves
2 cinnamons
1 tbsp. chili bean sauce
1 tbsp. Szechuan peppercorns
2 tbsps. light soy sauce
1 tbsp. rice wine, or dry sherry
1 tbsp. white sugar
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
2 tbsps. vegetable oil, for stir-frying
Directions:
1. Rinse the chicken wings thoroughly under running water, drain well and cut into sections.
2. In a bowl, season chicken wings with diced chili, Szechuan peppercorns, 1 tbsp. light soy sauce, and 1 tbsp. rice wine, mix them well and let marinate for about 15 minutes.

3. Preheat a wok over medium heat for about 30 seconds, then add 2 tbsps.vegetable oil, swirl to coat the surface of the wok, when hot, saute 1 tbsp. chili bean sauce briefly until aromatic, about 30 seconds.

4. Add the chicken wings, cook over medium heat, until lightly browned on bothsides, which will take about 3 minutes. Then add 1 star anise, 2 bay leaves, 2 cinnamons, 1 tbsp. light soy sauce and 1 tbsp. white sugar, stir until thoroughly combined.

5. Add green pepper slices when the chicken wings are nearly cooked, keep cooking until the pepper slices turn soft.

6. Remove from the wok to a plate, serve hot.
