Shrimp and Leeks Stir-fry Recipe
Shrimp and leeks stir-fry recipe is a famous Chinese recipe. It features a terrific combination of tender shrimp and tangy leeks.

Ingredients:
3.5 oz./ 100 g leeks, picked, cut into 1-inch sections
7 oz./ 200 g shrimp
1 tbsp. chopped scallion
1 tbsp. grated ginger root
1/2 cup chicken stock
1 tbsp. slight soy sauce
1 tbsp. sesame oil
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
2 tbsps. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. rice wine, or dry sherry

Directions:
1. Place a wok over high heat, add 2 tbsps. vegetable oil and swirl around to coat surface, when the oil is hot, saute chopped scallion and minced ginger briefly until aromatic, which will take about 20 seconds.
2. Add shrimp back into the wok, stirring for 2-3 minutes over medium heat, stir into 1/2 cup chicken stock, 1 tbsp. light soy sauce, 1 tbsp. rice wine, and 1 tsp. salt as you stir fry.
3. Then add leeks and stir fry over medium heat until nearly wilted, about 3 minutes.
4. Sprinkling with 1 tbsp. sesame oil before serving, cook briefly to mix everything together.

5. Serve on a plate.
