Bitter melon Green Gram Soup
Everyone loves soup, but when you feel like changing the routine, this tasty bitter melon and green gram soup is just the thing.

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 2 hours
Utensils:
Pot, bow.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
7oz./ 200 g green gram / mung bean
1 bitter melon, cut into 1-inch length pieces
3-5 tbsps. rock candy
5-10 cups water

Directions:
1. Put a large pot of water on to a boil, add green gram and bitter melon pieces. Cook them over high heat.

2. When boiling, reduce heat to low, then bring them to a simmer over low heat for 2 hours.

3. At the last minute of cooking, add rock candy.
4. When finished, remove from the heat and dump into warmed bowls, serve hot or cold.

Tips:
1. When you cook this soup in summer, try to refrigerate them for 30-60 minutes before serving.
