Tasty Oyster Soup Recipe
The name says it all, the oyster that added makes the flavor of this soup distinctive. This Chinese traditional soup is tasty and refreshing and it won’t leave you hungry.

Serves 2
Ingredients:
1 cup oats
1 cup rice
1 tbsp. chopped scallion
1 tbsp. ground black pepper
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
1 tbsp. freshly grated ginger root
3.5 oz./ 100 g raw oyster meat, rinse well


Directions:
1. Add 1 cup rice and 1 cup oats in a saucepan with enough water to cover, bring them to a boil, then lower the heat and keep on a steady simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Add into the ginger and raw oyster meat, keep cooking over medium heat until the oyster have set.

3. Season with salt and ground black pepper.
4. Ladle into wramed bowls, for an added touch, try top with a sprinkling of chopped scallion before serving.
