Sticky Rice and Lotus Seeds Soup
This sticky rice and lotus seeds soup is easy, but impressive. It is very light, but not lacking in great taste.

Cook time: 30 minutes

Serves 2
Ingredients:
1/2 cup lotus seeds
1 cup sticky rice
1/3 cup sugar
Directions:
1. Soak lotus seeds in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain well and set aside.
2. Soak sticky rice in water for about 1 hour ahead of time.
3. Preheat a large pot over high heat with enough water, then add lotus seeds and sticky rice into it, cook over high heat until steam appears, then reduce heat to medium high, simmer until it becomes like a paste, add sugar and mix well.
4. Pour into individual warmed bowls, serve warm or cold.
