Barbecued Meat with Tofu Stir-fry Recipe
This barbecued meat with tofu stir-fry recipe is very light, but not lacking in great taste.

Serves 2
Ingredients:
1 block firm tofu, about 7 oz./ 200g
1 stalk scallion, finely chopped
1/2 tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with 2 tbsp. water
5 oz. / 150 g barbecued meat, cut into thin strips
2 tbsps. oyster sauce
1/4 tsp. ground white pepper
1 tsp. white sugar
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
1/2 cup water
2 tbsps. vegetable oil for stir-frying
Directions:
1. In a bowl , soak the tofu with salted water for about 15 minutes ahead of time.
2. Drain the tofu well, then cut lengthways into halves, cut widthways into tens separately.
3. Preheat 2 tbsps. vegetable oil in a wok until hot, add back tofu cubes, lightly browned through then.
4. Add the chopped scallion and barbecued meat into the wok, stir into all the seasonings and cornstarch water mixture, reduce heat to medium, simmer until the sauce thickens and reduced.
5. Remove from the wok to a plate and serve hot.
