Pan Fried Chinese Dumpling Recipe
This fried chinese dumpling features a crispy texture and meaty filling tastes. It is perfect for any party and works with a number of dips as well.

Cook time: 15 minutes
Utensils:
Non-stick skillet/wok, serving plate.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
5 cups water
1 package Frozen Chinese dumplings, about 20-30 dumplings
2-5 tbsps. vegetable oil for pan-frying
Dipping Sauce, optional:
1tbsp. rice vinegar
1 clove crushed garlic
1tsp. ground black pepper
1tbsp. light soy sauce, low sodium
1tsp. freshlt grated ginger root
Directions:
1. Add 2-5 tbsps. vegetable oil to a non-stick skillet or wok, swirl the oil around to cover the surface evenly, heat over medium-high heat until hot, lay 10-16 frozen dumplings out on it and pan fry over medium high heat for 1 minute.

2. Pour into proper quantity of water to just cover half height of the dumplings. Turn up to high heat, put on the lid and cook for about 6-8 minutes.

3. When the dumplings begin to sizzle, or until the water reduced, turn off the heat, remove them to a plate, let chill 1-2 minutes.

4. Serve immediately with dipping sauce if desired.


Tips:
1. The dumplings will get browned, don't worry about that.
2. Don't move the dumplings while cooking, they are easily break.
3. Don't take the frozen dumplings out of the freezer too early before cooking, because they melt easily and becomes sticky when cooking.
