Balsam Pear Pork Stir-fry Recipe
This anthentic Chinese food recipe really brings out the natural goodness of the balsam pear, combined with the fragrant meat, it is perfect for any party.

Serves 2
Ingredients:
2 balsam pears, about 15 oz.
2 oz./ 50 g ground pork
1 tbsp. chopped scallion
1 tbsp. minced fresh ginger
2 tbsps. vegetable oil for stir-frying
1 tbsp. salt, or to taste
Directions:
1. Rinse balsam pear well, then cut into thin slices, gently combine with 1 tbsp. salt in a mixing bowl, mix well and let marinate for 15-20 minutes until wilted, pat dry and set aside for later use.


2. Place a wok over high heat, heat 2 tbsps. vegetable oil until hot, saute the scallion and ginger for 30 seconds, when it starts to brown, reduce heat to medium and add ground pork, stirring until no pink shows, which will take about 1 minute.

3. At last, add into balsam pear and continue to cook for another 1 minute, or until cooked.
4. Taste and season with salt if necessary, remove to a serving plate, serve hot.
