Carrot Meatballs Recipe

Utensils:
Wok, colander, grater, serving plate.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
1-2 carrots, washed, grated into small
3.5 oz. / 100g ground pork, you can also use beef instead
1 tbsp. five-spice powder
1 tbsp. grated ginger
1 tbsp. chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp. chopped scallion
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. light soy sauce
5 tbsps. vegetable oil for deep-frying
1/2 cup flour

Directions:
1. In a big mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients together, mix well.

2. Form the mixture into tiny meatballs of about 2-inches in diameter.
3. Heat 5 tbsps. or more vegetable oil in a wok over medium high heat until shimmering on the bottom, but not yet smoking. Deep fry the meatballs over medium high heat until the color turns golden brown, about 7 minutes or so.
4. Drain well on kitchen paper, let cool before serving.
