Cauliflower Sweetcorn Recipe
This nutritious dish is basically made with two simple ingredients found in almost any refrigerator, and it features a rich, and tasty dish that will satisfy your stomach.

Pot, wok, colander, bowl, serving plate.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
1 cauliflower, about 7oz., shredded
1 can of sweetcorn, or 5 oz. sweetcorns
1 bunch scallion, chopped fine
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
1 tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with 1/2 cup water in a bowl
2 tbsps. vegetable oil for stir-frying

Directions:
1. Bring a large pot of water to boil, blanch cauliflower for about 1 minute, or until tender, drain well and place onto a plate for later use.

2. In the pot in question, blanch the sweetcorns for 1-2 minutes, then remove to a bowl of cold water to stop the cooking.

3. Place a wok over high heat, heat 2 tbsps. vegetable oil till hot, saute scallion until begins to brown, then stir fry cauliflower and sweetcorns for 1 minute over medium heat.
4. At last, pour into cornstarch and water mixture, stir fry for 20 seconds, then turn off the heat.
5. Taste and season with salt, serve on a plate then.
