Sauerkraut Sausage Stew Recipe
Sauerkraut and sausage are always great together, here they combine to make a very simple and tasty stew. Paired with the tasty sauce, sauerkraut sausage stew recipe is perfect for any party.

Serves 2.
Ingredients:
5 tbsps. sauerkraut, shredded fine
1 onion, peeled and thinly sliced
1-2 Chinese sausage, casing removed, cut into 1-inch length sections
2 red hot peppers, remove seeds and ribs, chop into small pieces
1 bunch scallion, finely chopped
1 cup chicken stock
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 tsp. salt, or to taste
2 tbsps. vegetable oil for stir-frying
Directions:
1. Heat 2 tbsps. vegetable oil in a wok over medium high heat until hot, saute garlic cloves until aromatic, about 20 seconds, then add onion shreds and Chinese sausage.

2. Put sauerkraut shreds and red hot peppers into the wok, pour into 1 cup chicken stock, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for about 30 minutes.

3. Sprinkle with chopped scallion evenly, taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
4. Remove from heat to a serving plate, serve hot.
