Description

Baked Boursin Salmon is an easy yet elegant dish that combines rich, creamy Boursin cheese with tender, flaky salmon. The garlic and herb-infused cheese creates a decadent topping, making this a perfect recipe for weeknight dinners or special occasions. Ready in just 20 minutes, this healthy and flavorful dish is sure to impress.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

  • 1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin garlic and herb cheese

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for a fresh, zesty finish)

  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with non-stick spray.

  • Prepare the Salmon:

    • Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Pat them dry with a paper towel and season with a pinch of salt and pepper on both sides.

  • Spread the Boursin:

    • Using a spoon or small spatula, spread a generous amount of Boursin cheese over the top of each salmon fillet, covering the surface evenly.

  • Bake the Salmon:

    • Drizzle a little olive oil over the top of the salmon for extra moisture and flavor. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and easily flakes with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

  • Garnish and Serve:

    • Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice if desired. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of freshness.

Notes

Add Veggies: For extra flavor, top the salmon with sliced tomatoes, spinach, or sautéed mushrooms before adding the Boursin cheese.Different Cheese: You can substitute Boursin with other herb cheeses like Alouette or herbed cream cheese.Spicy Kick: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper to the Boursin cheese for some heat.
