Description

Balsamic Glazed Steak Rolls are elegant, tender beef slices rolled around fresh greens and savory fillings, then finished with a sweet and tangy balsamic glaze. This dish is perfect as a sophisticated appetizer or main course that’s simple to prepare yet impressively flavorful.

Ingredients

  • Thinly sliced beef steak (flank, sirloin, or ribeye)

  • Fresh spinach or arugula leaves

  • Roasted red peppers or sun-dried tomatoes

  • Garlic (minced)

  • Olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

  • Balsamic vinegar

  • Honey or maple syrup

  • Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or your choice; optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Lay out steak slices flat and season with salt, pepper, and olive oil.

  • Place spinach or arugula, roasted red pepper or sun-dried tomato strips, and a bit of minced garlic on each slice.

  • Roll each steak slice tightly and secure with toothpicks if needed.

  • In a small saucepan, simmer balsamic vinegar and honey/maple syrup over low heat until reduced and thickened into a glaze; set aside.

  • Cook steak rolls in the pan for 2-3 minutes per side until desired doneness.

  • Remove toothpicks, drizzle balsamic glaze over the rolls, garnish with fresh herbs if using, and serve warm
