Description

Brazilian Lemonade (Limonada Suíça) is a creamy and tangy drink made with whole limes, sweetened condensed milk, and sugar. Perfect for hot days or summer gatherings, this easy-to-make beverage is refreshing, sweet, and uniquely flavorful. A delightful tropical twist on traditional lemonade!

Ingredients

  • 4 limes (washed and quartered)

  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

  • 1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)

  • 4 cups cold water

  • Ice cubes, for serving

  • Lime slices or wedges (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the limes: Wash the limes thoroughly and cut each into quarters, keeping the peels on for added flavor.

  • Blend the ingredients: In a blender, combine the quartered limes, sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and cold water. Blend for 20-30 seconds until smooth and the limes are fully broken down.

  • Strain the mixture (optional): If you prefer a smoother drink, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove any pulp and seeds.

  • Serve: Pour the Brazilian Lemonade into glasses filled with ice cubes and garnish with lime slices or wedges if desired.

  • Enjoy: Stir the drink well before serving and enjoy the tangy, creamy, refreshing flavor!

Notes

You can make the drink sweeter by adding more sweetened condensed milk or sugar to taste. For a fizzy version, replace the cold water with sparkling water or club soda.Add a tropical twist by including a tablespoon of coconut milk.
