Description

Brazilian Limeade is a creamy, tangy, and refreshingly vibrant drink made with whole fresh limes, sweetened condensed milk, and ice. This unique limeade offers a tropical twist with its frothy texture and bright citrus flavor, perfect for cooling off on hot days or serving at any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 4 large limes, quartered (keep the peel on)

  • 1 cup cold water

  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

  • Optional: pinch of salt or sugar to taste

Instructions

  • Blend Ingredients:
In a blender, combine quartered limes (with peel), cold water, sweetened condensed milk, and ice cubes.

  • Blend Until Smooth:
Blend on high for 30–60 seconds until the mixture is frothy and smooth.

  • Strain (Optional):
Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp and peel bits for a smoother drink, or serve as is for extra texture.

  • Serve:
Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Removing the white pith from limes can reduce bitterness. For a fizzy twist, substitute cold water with sparkling water.Add fresh mint leaves before blending for a refreshing herbal note.Adjust sweetness by adding sugar, honey, or using less sweetened condensed milk. For a vegan version, use sweetened coconut milk or plant-based condensed milk alternatives.
