Description

Brownie Pecan Pie combines the best of both worlds: rich, fudgy brownies topped with a gooey, sweet pecan filling. This irresistible dessert brings together the comforting flavors of brownies and pecan pie, creating the perfect treat for holidays, special occasions, or any time you’re craving something indulgent.

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients required on the box, usually eggs, oil, and water)

  • 1 cup corn syrup

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

  • ½ cup melted butter

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 ½ cups chopped pecans

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or round baking pan.

  • Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs. Let it cool completely in the pan.

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.

  • Stir in the chopped pecans.

  • Once the brownie base has cooled, pour the pecan mixture over it, spreading evenly.

  • Bake for an additional 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly puffed around the edges.

  • Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing. Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.
