For the cinnamon sugar swirl and topping:

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted (for brushing)
Optional glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar mixed with 1-2 tbsp milk or cream
Instructions

Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan. -
Make the Batter:
In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed; avoid overmixing. -
Prepare Cinnamon Sugar Swirl:
Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. -
Assemble the Bread:
Pour half the batter into the pan, sprinkle half the cinnamon sugar evenly over it. Pour remaining batter on top and sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar. -
Bake:
Bake 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. About 10 minutes before done, brush top with melted butter and sprinkle extra cinnamon sugar for a crunchy crust. -
Cool and Glaze (Optional):
Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack. Drizzle optional glaze over cooled bread if desired. -
Serve:
Slice and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
