Description

Coca-Cola® Fudge with Walnuts is a rich, creamy fudge infused with the classic sweet and slightly spicy flavor of cola, combined with crunchy walnuts for added texture. This nostalgic homemade treat is perfect for holidays, gifting, or satisfying your sweet tooth with a unique twist on traditional fudge.

Ingredients

3 cups granulated sugar

3/4 cup Coca-Cola® (regular, not diet)

3/4 cup evaporated milk

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 package (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme (marshmallow fluff)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  • Prepare Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with foil and lightly grease.

  • Cook Mixture: In a large saucepan, combine sugar, Coca-Cola®, evaporated milk, and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue boiling and stirring for about 5 minutes or until the mixture reaches the soft-ball stage (234-240°F on a candy thermometer).

  • Add Chocolate and Marshmallow: Remove from heat and immediately stir in chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  • Add Walnuts: Stir in chopped walnuts.

  • Pour and Set: Pour fudge into prepared pan and spread evenly. Let cool at room temperature until firm (about 2 hours). For quicker setting, refrigerate about 1 hour.

  • Cut and Serve: Lift fudge out of pan using foil edges and cut into squares.

Notes

Use regular Coca-Cola® (not diet) for proper setting and flavor.Test fudge doneness with a candy thermometer or cold water soft-ball test.Substitute walnuts with pecans, almonds, or macadamia nuts if desired. For nut-free, omit nuts or replace with seeds.Add cinnamon, espresso powder, dried cranberries, or toffee bits for variation.
