Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract

  • 3 1/2 to 4 cups powdered sugar, sifted

  • Food coloring (optional)

  • Sprinkles or colored sugar for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  • Combine Cream Cheese and Extract:
    Beat softened cream cheese and peppermint extract in a large bowl until smooth.

  • Add Powdered Sugar:
    Gradually add powdered sugar, about 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition until dough is stiff and no longer sticky.

  • Add Color (Optional):
    Divide dough and knead in food coloring as desired.

  • Shape the Mints:
    Roll dough into 1/2-inch balls and flatten gently with a fork or fingers onto parchment-lined baking sheets.
