Description

Creamy Amaretto Cheesecake is a rich and elegant dessert featuring velvety almond-flavored cheesecake filling infused with Amaretto liqueur, all atop a buttery graham cracker crust. Perfect for holidays, celebrations, or an indulgent treat, this cheesecake offers smooth texture, subtle nutty sweetness, and show-stopping flavor.

Ingredients

  • For the crust:
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

For the cheesecake filling:

  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1/4 cup Amaretto liqueur

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp almond extract

Optional toppings:

  • Whipped cream

  • Sliced almonds

  • Amaretto or chocolate sauce drizzle

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust:
Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 8–10 minutes, then let cool slightly.

  • Make the Filling:
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in sour cream, Amaretto, vanilla, and almond extract until fully combined.

  • Bake the Cheesecake:
Pour filling into the crust. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until edges are set and center is slightly jiggly. Turn off oven, crack the door, and cool for 1 hour. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

  • Top and Serve:
Garnish with whipped cream, sliced almonds, or a drizzle of Amaretto or chocolate sauce before serving.

Notes
