Description

Crispy Air Fryer Spring Rolls offer a healthier alternative to traditional fried spring rolls, delivering a golden, crunchy exterior with a flavorful, tender filling. Made quickly and easily in the air fryer with minimal oil, these spring rolls are perfect for guilt-free snacking or party appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 12 spring roll wrappers

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage

  • 1 cup shredded carrots

  • 1 cup cooked protein (shrimp, chicken, or tofu), finely chopped
  • 2 green onions, sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Cooking spray or oil for brushing

Instructions

  • Prepare Filling: In a large bowl, mix cabbage, carrots, protein, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.

  • Assemble Spring Rolls: Lay one wrapper on a flat surface with a corner facing you. Place 2 tablespoons of filling near that corner. Fold the corner over the filling, then fold in sides, and roll tightly toward the opposite corner. Seal the edge with water.

  • Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.

  • Air Fry: Lightly spray or brush spring rolls with oil. Place in a single layer in the basket, cook 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy. Work in batches if needed.

  • Serve: Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces such as sweet chili or soy sauce.

Notes

Use tofu or extra vegetables for a vegetarian option. For gluten-free, use rice paper wrappers and tamari sauce.Avoid overfilling and seal edges tightly to prevent breaking.Keep wrappers covered with a damp cloth to avoid drying out while assembling.
