Description

Crock Pot Honey Bourbon Chicken is a tender, slow-cooked chicken dish featuring a sweet and savory sauce made with honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Despite the name, it contains no alcohol—just bold Bourbon Street-inspired flavors perfect for the whole family. Serve over rice or noodles for a comforting, crowd-pleasing meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 cup honey

  • 1 cup low-sodium soy sauce

  • ½ cup ketchup

  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup diced onion

  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken:
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and place them in the crock pot.

  • Make the Sauce:
In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, oil, garlic, onion, and red pepper flakes.

  • Combine and Cook:
Pour the sauce over the chicken. Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours or high for 1½–2½ hours.

  • Finish and Serve:
