Ingredients

½ cup breadcrumbs

1 large egg

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cups beef broth

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp Dijon mustard

½ cup sour cream

2 tbsp all-purpose flour or cornstarch (for thickening)

Instructions

In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix gently and form into small meatballs.

Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides (they do not need to be fully cooked).

Transfer browned meatballs to the slow cooker.

In the same skillet, whisk together beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Pour the mixture over the meatballs.

Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.

About 30 minutes before serving, stir sour cream into the slow cooker.

Mix flour or cornstarch with a little water to make a slurry, then stir into the slow cooker to thicken the gravy as needed.
