Description

Glazed Grilled Salmon Fillets are a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and smoky flavors. Grilled to perfection and topped with a delicious honey-soy glaze, this dish is quick, easy, and full of flavor. Ideal for summer BBQs, weeknight dinners, or special occasions, it’s a healthy and tasty way to enjoy salmon.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • For the Glaze:

    • 1/4 cup honey

    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

    • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

    • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or white wine vinegar

    • 2 cloves garlic, minced

    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional, for a citrusy touch)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Grill:

    • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F). Clean and oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.

  • Make the Glaze:

    • In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, vinegar, minced garlic, and lemon juice (if using). Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the glaze thickens slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.

  • Grill the Salmon:

    • Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil on both sides and season with salt and pepper.

    • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for 4-5 minutes per side, depending on thickness. The salmon should be cooked through but still moist, with an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  • Apply the Glaze:

    • During the last minute of grilling, brush a generous amount of the prepared glaze over the salmon fillets. Allow the glaze to caramelize slightly, but avoid burning it.

  • Serve:

    • Remove the salmon from the grill and transfer it to a serving platter. Drizzle the remaining glaze over the salmon and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve with lemon wedges for an extra burst of freshness.

Notes

Add Herbs: Fresh or dried herbs like rosemary, thyme, or dill can be added to the glaze for extra flavor.Spicy Glaze: For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes, chili powder, or a small amount of sriracha to the glaze.Citrus Twist: Add orange or lime juice for a citrusy flavor boost.
