Topped with a red heart-shaped topping, this fun and colorful dessert is perfect for holiday gatherings, adding a whimsical touch to your celebration.

Ingredients

Crust:

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Cheesecake Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 (3.4 oz) box of instant vanilla pudding mix

  • 1 ½ cups milk

  • 1 drop of green food coloring (or more for desired color)

Top Layer:

  • 1 cup whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)

  • 2 tablespoons red sugar (or crushed red sprinkles)

Instructions

  • Make the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Refrigerate while preparing the cheesecake layer.

  • Prepare the Cheesecake Layer: Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy. In a separate bowl, whisk instant vanilla pudding mix with milk until thickened (about 2 minutes). Add the pudding to the cream cheese mixture and beat until smooth.

  • Gently fold in the whipped cream and vanilla extract. Add green food coloring a drop at a time until the desired color is achieved.

  • Assemble the Layers: Spread the green cheesecake layer over the graham cracker crust. Smooth it out evenly.

  • Top Layer: Spread the whipped topping evenly over the cheesecake layer. Sprinkle red sugar or crushed red sprinkles on top to create the Grinch’s heart.

  • Refrigerate: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the layers to set.

  • Serve: Slice and serve chilled, enjoying the festive flavors and colors of this holiday treat!
