Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans. -
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. -
Cream Butter and Sugar:
In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. -
Add Eggs and Vanilla:
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract. -
Combine Wet and Dry:
Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with dry ingredients. Mix until just combined. -

Cool:
