Description

No Bake Orange Creamsicle Truffles are a creamy, citrusy treat with a smooth orange-flavored center coated in white chocolate. These bite-sized truffles are easy to make and perfect for parties, holidays, or as a simple indulgence. The refreshing orange and rich white chocolate create the perfect balance of flavors in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon orange zest (from about 1 orange)

  • 1 tablespoon orange juice (freshly squeezed)

  • 2 cups white chocolate chips (for the truffle center)

  • 8 oz white chocolate (for coating the truffles)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Orange sprinkles (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  • Make the truffle mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.

  • Add flavoring: Stir in the orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

  • Melt the white chocolate chips: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 20-30 second intervals, stirring between each until fully melted and smooth. Once melted, stir it into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.

  • Chill the mixture: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or until firm enough to roll into balls.

  • Shape the truffles: Once the mixture has chilled and is firm, scoop out small portions (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll them into smooth balls using your hands.

  • Coat the truffles: In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt the remaining white chocolate for coating. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, using a fork to lift them out and tapping gently to remove any excess chocolate. Place the dipped truffles onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Decorate and chill: If desired, sprinkle the truffles with orange sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet, or leave them plain. Chill the truffles for at least 30 minutes to allow the coating to set.

  • Serve: Once the white chocolate coating has hardened, serve the truffles chilled. They’re ready to enjoy!

Notes

Variations: Add a splash of orange liqueur like Cointreau for an adult twist.Change chocolate type: Use dark or milk chocolate for the coating if you prefer.Smaller truffles: Roll smaller balls for bite-sized treats.Add texture: Add finely crushed graham crackers or crispy rice cereal for crunch.
