Description

These Cottage Cheese Chips are the ultimate high-protein, low-carb snack! Crispy, crunchy, and made with just one main ingredient, they’re a healthy alternative to traditional chips and perfect for keto, gluten-free, or low-calorie diets. Customize with your favorite seasonings and enjoy a guilt-free crunch that’s packed with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese (preferably small curd)

  • Optional seasonings (choose your favorites):
    • Everything bagel seasoning

    • Garlic powder

    • Onion powder

    • Smoked paprika

    • Chili powder

    • Dried herbs (like thyme, rosemary, basil)

  • Optional toppings:

    • Shredded cheddar cheese

  • Grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Prepare Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray it with oil.

  • Drain Cottage Cheese: Place cottage cheese in a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove excess liquid.

  • Portion Out: Scoop tablespoon-sized mounds onto the baking sheet, spaced 1 inch apart. Flatten each slightly with the back of a spoon.

  • Add Seasonings: Sprinkle each mound with desired seasonings and optional cheese.

  • Bake: Bake for 30–40 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crisp.

  • Cool: Let chips cool completely on the baking sheet—they’ll crisp more as they cool.

Notes

Full-fat cottage cheese yields the crispiest texture. If chips stick, try a better quality parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. For a sweet version, sprinkle with cinnamon and monk fruit sweetener.Pair with guacamole, salsa, yogurt dip, or hummus for an extra snack boost.
