Description

Toblerone Mousse is a rich and indulgent dessert that combines Toblerone chocolate with a light, airy mousse texture. With creamy chocolate, a touch of honey, and a hint of almond, this dessert is perfect for any special occasion or a simple treat for chocolate lovers.

Ingredients

For the Mousse:

  • 200g Toblerone chocolate (milk or dark, depending on your preference)

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon water (optional, to melt the chocolate)

For Garnish (optional):

  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds

  • Extra Toblerone pieces, grated

Instructions

  1. Melt the Toblerone:
Break the Toblerone chocolate into small pieces and place it in a heatproof bowl. Melt it using a double boiler or in the microwave (heat in 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between). Add 1 tablespoon of water for a smoother consistency.

  2. Whip the Cream:
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar together using an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Be cautious not to overwhip.

  3. Combine Chocolate and Cream:
Let the melted chocolate cool slightly, then gently fold it into the whipped cream. Stir in the vanilla extract and mix until smooth.

  4. Chill the Mousse:
Spoon the mousse into serving glasses or bowls. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the mousse is set and firm.

  5. Garnish and Serve:
Before serving, garnish with chopped almonds, grated Toblerone, or additional chocolate pieces. Serve chilled and enjoy!
