Description

Turtle Bark is an easy, no-bake chocolate treat layered with gooey caramel and crunchy toasted pecans. Inspired by classic turtle candies, this rich and satisfying dessert is perfect for holidays, gift-giving, or whenever you need a quick, decadent snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips

  • 1 cup soft caramels (about 25 pieces), unwrapped

  • 2 tbsp heavy cream or milk

  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted

  • Sea salt, for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare Pan: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

  • Melt Chocolate: Microwave chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Spread evenly onto the prepared pan.

  • Add Pecans: Sprinkle toasted pecans evenly over the melted chocolate.

  • Melt Caramel: Microwave caramels with cream in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  • Drizzle and Finish: Drizzle melted caramel over chocolate and pecans. Swirl with a toothpick if desired. Sprinkle with sea salt.

  • Chill: Refrigerate for 30–45 minutes, or until set.

  • Break and Serve: Once set, break into pieces and enjoy.
