Prepared horseradish (not creamy)

Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, lemon juice, mustard, horseradish, garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne or hot sauce (if using).

Reserve half the sauce for serving. Use the other half to marinate the chicken in a sealed container or bag for at least 1 hour or overnight.

Preheat grill or oven to medium-high heat.

Grill or bake chicken, turning occasionally, until nicely charred and cooked through (internal temp 165°F/74°C).

Brush with reserved sauce during the last few minutes of cooking if desired.

Notes
Marinating overnight deepens flavor.Sauce can also be used as a dip for fries or vegetables.For oven baking, cook at 400°F (200°C) for 25–30 minutes.
